Job Title: Transport Manager

Location: London

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000

We are recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager to join a dynamic Logistics business in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the transport department and will ensure customer requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

* Manage a fleet of vehicles including scheduling and route planning

* Monitor staff performance and ensure customer service levels are maintained

* Develop and maintain relationships with customers, carriers and suppliers

* Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

* Oversee the accurate recording of all data and provide reports as required

* Manage the transport budget

* Monitor fuel usage and ensure all vehicles are properly maintained

Technical Skills Required:

* Extensive experience in a similar role

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Ability to work well under pressure

* Good problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of transport regulations

* Understanding of transport and logistics operations

* Strong organisational and time management skills

* Excellent IT skills
