Role Profile
I am looking for a skilled Global Logistics Project Co-Ordinator to join a leading international provider of specialist consultancy risk management and claims solutions. They are operating in industrial construction, transportation, project cargo and supply chain sectors.
You would be reporting to the Operations Manager and would be responsible for managing cargo risk management load, stow and secure surveys for infrastructure development projects globally and would work as part of a collaborative team in completing day to day tasks.
The ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of logistics, freight, large cargo/marine cargo, heavy lift surveys and military / commercial sector knowledge.
The role is office-based and typical hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Given the global nature of the customer base, occasional flexibility will be required to accommodate different time zones.
Technical Skills Required:
- Experience or working in a logistics related role or be familiar with how goods are moved globally.
- Customer service and strong communication skills and are well versed in a phone orientated environment.
- Organised with time management skills to complete deadlines on time.
- Can work in a fast-paced environment and can pay attention to small details.
- Can work as part of a team and individually.
- Has knowledge of logistics surveying.
