Role Profile
Cast UK are seeking an exceptional Indirect Purchasing Manager to lead the non raw material spend for this global manufacturer based in Stafford. With a unique opportunity to lead buyers across the UK operations, grow the indirects team and also spearhead the implementation of SAP Purchasing modules for the group, this is a fantastic opportunity with outstanding future global career opportunities.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies consistent with global purchasing policy Assess and manage sourcing risks
Manage daily purchasing activities and supervise UK purchasing staff
Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure clear requirements in the RFQ
Ensure purchasing process compliance and use of purchasing tools
Ensure sourcing and delivery of goods and services for all plants in the UK and support efficiency/savings initiatives
Monitor UK purchasing performance through KPIs, including process compliance and implement necessary corrective actions
Support Category Manager for European/Global actions and roll-out of global contracts
Lead the current SAP Implementation supported by group partners
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (economics, commercial) or equivalent
Experience in strategic purchasing and change management
Knowledge of FMCG manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
Able to develop and deal with several IT programs and excellent skills in data analytics
