Are you an experienced operations leader ready to drive operational excellence for a dynamic B2B distribution business? We're seeking a Head of Operations to oversee warehouse, transport, and site facilities, ensuring optimal performance across all operational functions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead end-to-end operations including warehouse, transport, and facilities management
- Full P&L accountability, managing budgets and driving cost efficiencies
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth
- Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering leadership at all levels
- Oversee third-party relationships, ensuring top-tier service delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance
- Manage and improve customer satisfaction through strong service delivery and issue resolution
What We're Looking For:
- Proven leadership experience in operations within B2B distribution or a similar sector
- Expertise in managing large teams, including recruitment, retention, and development
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex P&L across diverse revenue streams
- Knowledge of warehouse management, transport logistics, and supply chain operations
- A strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and exceptional communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience of using a WMS system
- Strong skillset within change management
- Ability to challenge the status quo
- Experience of overseeing strategic projects is advantageous
