Cast UK are support a fast-growing logistics business with the recruitment process of a Hub Manager for our London location. As a Hub Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations at the hub, managing a team of staff, and ensuring that our clients receive excellent service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the hub, including scheduling, staffing, and training
- Ensure that all deliveries are processed efficiently and accurately, in accordance with our clients' requirements
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery and order accuracy
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and reduce errors
- Work closely with our sales and customer service teams to ensure that client needs are being met
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that all stock is accounted for and properly stored
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for all staff
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a logistics management role
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of logistics software and technology
- Experience in inventory management
- A degree in logistics or a related field is preferred
