This is a fantastic opportunity to join a historic Business based in Manchester in a position where you will enjoy autonomy and responsibility in a supportive team environment.

Role Profile

• Responsible for placing orders to meet customer demand
• Confident in working closely with suppliers (Far East) and internal stakeholders
• Creating and managing processes, ensuring Critical Paths are managed to maintain delivery dates
• Ability to approve and advise on labelling and packaging following customer manuals
• Strong understanding of the import process
• Manage a document filing system
• Create and send Purchase Orders to suppliers
• Ability to assist in the management of High Street accounts in conjunction with the sales team
• Assist the team with other duties in line with the scope of the role as required.

Ideal Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of Import is required
• 2/3 years' experience in a merchandising position or as an import merchandiser
• Knowledge and experience of shipping documentation
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Discreet, professional, and well spoken, with good communication skills
• Exceptionally organised, methodical, and efficient.
