I'm looking for a Logistics Supervisor with Dangerous Goods experience who will join a small but effective team dealing with the import and export of products across the UK and US markets. With a really friendly and engaging team, this is a great place to work and a brilliant opportunity for anyone lucky enough to get the job!

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries worldwide in partnership with Logistics, Supply Chain and Sales teams.
• Responsibility for all shipments, including Import, Export, Cross trade ocean, road and air shipments.
• Cost/Time benefit analysis with a focus on Vender management,
• Develop and improve operations through analysis of global logistics spend,
• Plan shipments, both inbound and outbound, tracking orders to maintain high levels of customer service,
• Contract management - 3PLs, hauliers, Carriers and Forwarders,
• Maintain high levels of H&S,
• Responsibility for quotations, invoice approvals and raising/closing off Freight PO's,

• Analytical thinking
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Act as a mentor and role model for the team
• Basic functionality of Microsoft Word and Excel
