Job Description

CastUK are partnering with a leading seafood production group, to assist with the recruitment of a proactive and experienced Marketing Assistant with experience in the food or FMCG industries. In this role, you will be working closely with the Marketing Development Manager to assist in the production of a UK marketing plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the UK commercial team with sales collaterals, PowerPoint presentations and general marketing requests.

• organising and participating in trade shows and exhibitions, as well as occasionally collaborating with our clients and the interior teams to develop new products.
• Assist with identifying collaborations and marketing opportunities to promote our brand and inform consumers about the product line.
• Writing articles and newsletters for the business that are interesting and well-written.
• Monitoring and maintaining social media communications across a variety of channels
• Maintain and update seafood, foodservice, wholesale and retail reports, including competitors' activity & products launches

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing

• Great communicator with impeccable copywriting including spelling & grammar
• CANVA, Photoshop, ChatGPT and other creative digital & media tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & Powerpoint
• Educated to degree level, or experience equivalent, in a relevant discipline (Communication, Business, Marketing or Digital communication)
• Valid driving licence is essential for this role.
• Experience of social media (Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook), incl. content writing, Meta Business Suite and analytics
