In this position, my client is looking for a motivated marketing professional to step into a newly established role. You'll be in charge of overseeing and growing the marketing department for an SME business. You'll report to the Sales Director and collaborate with the external sales team. This role is a new and exciting opportunity with the potential to expand along with the company.

About the Company:

You'll be working for a well-established yet growing manufacturing company supplying into the KBB sector. As part of their growth plan, they've created a new role for a Marketing Executive, based at their manufacturing facility in Walsall.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and build the marketing function, working closely with the external sales team.
• Create, develop, and execute marketing campaigns.
• Oversee a website development project.
• Manage extensive social media campaigns and produce relevant content.
• Monitor market trends and analytics.
• Generate leads through targeted product marketing strategies.
• Develop and manage point-of-sale materials.
• Increase brand awareness.
• Coordinate promotional events.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Ideal candidate has a marketing qualification and experience working in a marketing function, ideally in a manufacturing context, but other industries will also be considered.
• Some experience with design, campaign creation, and brand building.
• Proficiency in multimedia content creation, with a strong focus on social media.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
