Calling all Buyers with experience in material procurement!! Are you looking for a exciting Procurement role with a focus on strategic sourcing and category management?
This newly created vacancy sits within the established Procurement team of a successful business. You will be responsible for the end-to-end Procurement of an allocated category of products, including ongoing supplier and contract management.

What will the role involve?
- Managing the procurement of raw materials within your category
- Issuing tenders and analysing supplier responses
- Analysing cost drivers and tracking relevant commodity prices
- Negotiating prices and contractual terms with suppliers
- Undertaking contract management and supplier relationship management activities
- Delivering cost savings and added value within your category
- Managing and developing internal and external stakeholder relationships
Ideal Skills and Experience
- Relevant procurement experience, including tendering and contract negotiation
- Experience of material procurement / commodity procurement
- Strong relationship building / stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent analytical skills with good working knowledge of MS Excel
- CIPS qualification, or a willingness to work towards this
