Role Profile

My client, an established engineering business in the Stockport area, is looking to appoint a Mechanical Engineer to join the Workshop team.

Key responsibilities:

• Repair and rebuild the full range of engines, turbochargers and components within the workshop.
• Provide technical support for projects and investigative works as required by the Workshop Manager.
• Undertake component and ancillary component overhaul, including cleaning, inspection, and rebuilding to company specifications and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety policy and procedures in all aspects of work.

Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Strong background repairing and overhauling a variety of engines and engines components.
• Mechanical Engineering qualification preferred.
• Motivated and organised professional
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
• IT skills proficient with the ability to write technical reports.
