A trading division of Bunzl UK Ltd, Lockhart Catering Equipment are one of the world's finest suppliers of quality catering equipment and clothing. They are renowned for being a prestigious brand which is associated with the top catering and leisure establishments across the country.
As the exclusive recruitment partner for Lockhart Catering, Cast UK have been instructed to recruit a National Account Executive for their prestigious Contract Catering & Healthcare accounts. The role will be home-based with the ad-hoc travel to customer sites.
This fantastic opportunity's main accountability is to create profit growth of an assigned account, through the incremental growth of existing accounts and identifying new opportunities within the wider account.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Support sales and profit targets as set by National Account Manager.
- Track bespoke stock value and ensure products are sold within agreed timescales.
- Understanding of the customer price build and financial aspects of the contract.
- Seek out opportunities within the wider account and deliver with the relevant key stakeholders.
- Confident when dealing with negative people encouraging them to come up with imaginative solutions.
- Knowledge of customers in the wider food retail and catering industry.
- Regular review meetings at the customers' head office and client sites, to build relationships and identify opportunities.
- Review compliance within the customer portfolio and the use of GAP analysis.
- Liaise with internal key stakeholders to meet customer needs, ensuring smooth running of the account and a programme of continual improvement.
- Solution based approach to managing customer challenges, ensuring that they receive the best experience possible.
- Work to a high specification in order to improve and maintain quality.
- Generate enquiries and work with the National Account Manager in responding to RFQs/Tenders.
- Utilise CRM and IT systems to provide relevant customer related data on every customer review.
- Build relationships with core manufacturers and liaise with them on opportunities.
- Ensure that bespoke and customer specific stock is managed and appropriate levels of stock are maintained for customers and the business.
- Make appointments with customers to increase sales and work on joint projects. Keeping records of quotes and working with internal sales support to chase and convert opportunities into orders.

- Strong commercial awareness - numerical and analytical skills
- Strong Market insight for the account
- Proven evidence of success in Account Management
- Experience and confidence of working with cold data
