Role Profile
My client is a high-growth tech business who specialises in Final-Mile logistics. Due to their continued growth and expansion in the UK, they have a need for an outstanding Operations manager to join the team to manage & develop the live operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day operations for Live Operations which includes Warehouse & Fleet Management across multiple locations
- Manage delivery drivers & build structure to provide reliability for the operation
- Spend time engaging the workforce doing what is necessary to build a happy & motivated team
- Oversee scheduling & staffing levels ensuring this is always at the optimum level
- Provide an accurate handover to the following manager on shift
- Deal with issues as they come up reporting back on anything major
- Contingency planning
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role & managing a live delivery operation
- You will be exceptionally driven to build something special with flexibility to meet the demands of the role which includes evening & weekend work
- You will be motivated by developing people and work tirelessly to get the best out of your teams & have the ability to coach and mentor colleagues
- The ability to work across multiple product types including food & drink
