Cast UK are delighted to be partnering with an established and growing business based in Bolton, in their recruitment of a Procurement Administrator to join the team. You'll work closely with the wider Procurement function, supporting with day to day procurement admin tasks, liaising with suppliers and providing sales support activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual looking to develop their career within procurement and supply chain, joining a specialist business where accuracy, responsiveness and strong supplier relationships are critical. The role is Monday to Friday, based onsite and typically working 9am - 5pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders accurately and in line with business requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability and delivery information.
  • Raise and maintain accurate purchase orders and supplier documentation.
  • Monitor outstanding orders and proactively chase suppliers for updates.
  • Confirm supplier acknowledgements, pricing, quantities and delivery dates.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies relating to orders, invoices and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure information is kept up to date.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the wider procurement team with sourcing and purchasing activities.
  • Communicate potential delays or supply issues quickly and clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure procurement activity is completed accurately and within required timescales.
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and administration.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a procurement, purchasing, supply chain or administration environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to following up outstanding actions and resolving issues.
  • Comfortable picking up the phone and having conversations with suppliers when required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a procurement environment.
