Role Profile
Newly created and exceptional opportunity with UK Leading retailer, this role forms part of the team responsible for ensuring that products sold are safe, compliant with current legislative requirements and quality standards, and aligned with the brands risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify the relevant safety, testing and certification requirements for products
- Responsible for drafting technical files with suitable risk assessments, test reports and certification and manage the review and approval system for labelling compliance
- Ensure timely review, recording and resolution of product safety and quality related issues
- Support the Buying team throughout new product development and existing product reviews
- Investigate and manage customer complaints and work closely with our customer support, buying and store teams to ensure an appropriate response is provided
- Keep the business appraised of relevant legislative and best practice developments.
Skills & Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in product safety regulatory and compliance work
Thorough knowledge and understanding of general and specific product safety legislation and safety standards
Experience of process development and management
