Role Profile

Our client, an FMCG business in Liverpool, is looking to appoint a Production Planner to join their existing supply chain team.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Creating both short term and mid term production plans based on sales and demand forecasts
• Planning production activities for manufacturing in line with production capacity, material availability and customer needs
• Production Planner to lead meetings with the Manufacturing team
• Maintaining inventory at optimum levels
• Driving improvements in processes and internal KPIs

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrable experience as a Production Planner, with experience of production planning and MRP
• Experience working in fast paced manufacturing environments such as FMCG
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ambition to progress and develop career within supply chain
