Role Profile:

Cast UK are supporting a Food Service business with the recruitment process of a Purchasing Manager to be based in Hertfordshire. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the purchasing of products from manufacturers to stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchasing, Supply & Distribution - receive & process orders from stores and place these with the manufacturer. Ensure Approved Suppliers maintain minimum stock levels to ensure products are always available for the stores.
• Compliance & Operations - assist key stakeholders in the business to ensure compliance is kept to a high standard on a consistent basis.
• Training - lead and assist with any related training across the departments.
• Commercial Analysis - analyse stores purchasing and provide accurate insight to ensure compliance standards are met. Also assist in the preparation of key information and reporting.
• Best Practice - ensure all legislation and best practice is adhered to across the departments.

Skills Required:

• Previous Purchasing experience, ideally within the Food industry
• Strong commercial analysis skills are required
• High understanding of compliance & legislation
• Ability to lead and train others, across multiple departments

Renumeration:

£45,000 - £50,000 Benefits
