Job Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Control Technician to join a rapidly growing Food Manufacturing and Technology company based in Greater Manchester. This role is responsible for supporting the pre site sign off scoping, and thereafter, supporting the day-to-day implementation of the solution at our customers' meat and food processing plants.

Responsibilities

• Conducting tests and checks on all technological products
• Support the AI Installation, sampling and UAT Process.
• Support the PM in collating the required Customer information
• Ensuring that all products meet the necessary standards and comply with all relevant legislation and regulations
• Identifying any problems with products and finding solutions to rectify them
• Maintaining detailed records of all tests and checks
• Monitoring production processes to ensure quality standards are met
• Reporting any issues to the Project Manager

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in a quality control role in the food manufacturing industry
• A thorough understanding of quality control processes, legislation and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You need to be comfortable working inside meat processing plants
• Must be a confident and authentic communicator who can assist stakeholders with change, manage expectations, and have the ability to work effectively with plant floor staff through to plant management.
