Role profile
Our client, who are a leading Logistics business with multiple operations across the UK, is looking to recruit a Regional Operations Director. Reporting into the Board, you will be responsible for a number of distribution centres as well developing strategic relationships across various customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Building long-lasting, strategic relationships with customers; both existing and prospects
- Conducting regular account review to ensure customer expectations are consistently exceeded both operationally and financially
- Manage a team of General Managers to ensure their sites are operating effectively and meeting KPI's
- Report on monthly basis to the Board in relation to business unit performance and plans
- Identify and implement opportunities to upsell existing products and services to customers and further develop strategic partnerships
- Create culture of continuous improvement and drive initiatives
Key Skills
- Experience manging multiple operations with significant headcounts
- Experience of working within 3PL or Retail environments is essential
- Proven track record managing significant customer relationships
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence at all levels both internal and external
- Ability to identify commercial opportunities with customers
