Role Profile
Cast UK are working with a growing business in the Staffordshire area who are looking to identify a talented purchasing professional to join their Purchasing team as a Senior Buyer.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage all purchasing activity for engineering components
- Negotiate contractual agreements and commercial terms, including tooling costs
- Liaise with Production and Engineering to ensure parts are sourced in line with technical specifications
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Significant purchasing experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment, including confidence to negotiate and agree contractual terms
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- Proven track record in delivering cost savings
- Technical awareness and ideally the ability to read engineering drawings
