Are you an ambitious Procurement specialist with the drive to take on an exciting new challenge?

This role is a fantastic opportunity to manage a newly created, high value category within an established procurement function of a global business.

You will manage lease and property costs for this business' global rented real estate portfolio and will have real scope to add value and make an impact quickly, with plenty of low hanging fruit!

What will the role involve?

• Identify and gather data on the business' large portfolio of rented commercial properties in various locations across the world
• Act as a key user in the implementation of a new system for property assets, to ensure better visibility and management of leases and contracts
• Effectively engage key stakeholders across the business to develop appropriate procurement and renewal strategies for the leased property portfolio
• Coordinate and lead the negotiation of lease and property costs for all leased sites across the business
• Ensure the consideration of sustainability goals such as improving energy efficiency

You will ideally have…

• Proven track record in a strategic procurement or category management role
• Experience of complex / high value negotiations
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence to negotiate legal contracts
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience managing a wide range of relationships with senior stakeholders
• Excellent systems skills, ideally having held a key user role in a system implementation
• Relevant category expertise in Real Estate / Asset Management would be an advantage but is not essential
