Role Profile

Cast UK are supporting a large scale Distributor with the recruitment process of a Senior Commercial Analyst to be based in Surrey, with frequent travel across the UK. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be a key commercial subject matter expert, analyst, and decision maker for the business.

This position comes with a real chance of career progression, with the opportunity to work closely to develop your skills with the Commercial Director, alongside being provided top level coaching through a variety of internal and external sources.

Key Responsibilities:

• New business proposals - this will include managing tender projects alongside key stakeholders within the business. As part of this process, you will be responsible for the full comprehensive commercial review, utilising all of the data provided and put together the commercial plan - ensuring it is viable and profitable for the business.

• Existing business - this will include account reviews with key stakeholders, overseeing the creation of price guides for the sales teams. Alongside this, you will be responsible for leading price reviews and working closely with the account management team to ensure the detail is thorough.

• Continuous Improvement - engage with all functions to refine and implement improvements to existing processes

Required Skills:

• Strong influencing skills - this role will involve consistent dialogue with key stakeholders within the business, meaning someone with high influencing skills is required.

• Degree qualification - ideally within Business Administration, Business Management or Economics

• Advanced commercial acumen - this role requires something a deep understanding of business operations, across sales, finance, marketing and have an understanding of market conditions

• Full UK driving license - this will be required for the travel across the UK
