We're partnering with a leading organisation in the hardware and security solutions sector, currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and integration. They are now looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager to take ownership of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety across their UK operations.

The Role

This is a broad, hands-on SHEQ management role where you'll play a key part in developing and maintaining the organisation's Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety management systems.

You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with UK legislation and relevant international standards, whilst driving continuous improvement and promoting a strong culture of safety, quality and accountability throughout the business.

Working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Technical, Customer Service and senior leadership teams, you'll provide expert guidance on SHEQ matters and help identify opportunities to improve processes, performance and compliance.

About You

We're looking for an experienced, proactive SHEQ professional who is comfortable operating in a hands-on manufacturing or corporate environment.

You'll have strong knowledge of UK legislation and international SHEQ standards, alongside the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels. You'll be someone who can balance strategic thinking with practical delivery and is passionate about continuous improvement, compliance and creating a positive safety and quality culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 or relevant industry standards
  • Lead internal and external audits, managing corrective and preventative actions and driving continuous improvement
  • Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage customer complaints and non-conformances, ensuring effective root cause analysis and timely resolution
  • Develop and maintain the Environmental Management System in line with ISO 14001 or equivalent standards
  • Ensure compliance with relevant UK environmental legislation and regulations
  • Lead initiatives around waste reduction, energy efficiency, emissions and overall environmental performance
  • Develop and maintain the Health & Safety Management System in line with ISO 45001 or equivalent standards
  • Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and internal safety requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and workplace inspections
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Delived health, safety and environmental training and awareness programmes
  • Monitor QEHS performance indicators and provide regular reports and insights to senior management
  • Act as the key point of contact for QEHS matters internally and externally
  • Provide expert advice to senior leadership on QEHS risks, opportunities and compliance
  • Lead cross-functional QEHS projects and initiatives
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, safety and quality across the organisation

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a QEHS management role, ideally within a manufacturing or corporate environment
  • Experience across Quality, Environment, Health & Safety
  • Strong working knowledge of UK legislation and relevant international standards
  • Experience working with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent Health & Safety certification
  • Quality qualification such as CQE, IRCA Lead Auditor or equivalent would be advantageous
  • Strong experience with audits, risk management, compliance and continuous improvement
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and project management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QEHS management systems/software
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and drive positive change
