Are you a strategic Buyer looking for a fantastic career opportunity?

Do you have experience managing 3rd Party Transport and Logistics spend?

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a category management role managing a high value category with international reach.

What will the role involve?

• Developing and implementing procurement category strategies for Logistics, Transport and Warehousing
• Tendering, contract negotiation and contract management
• Managing supplier relationships and driving improvements in supplier performance
• Delivering savings, cash flow improvements and capacity security
• Establishing best-practice processes to drive maximum value for company budgets
• Acting as the main point of contact for internal stakeholder queries

You will ideally have…

• Proven experience in a strategic procurement role
• Category management skills
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Previous experience managing 3^rd Party Logistics, Transport and Warehousing suppliers
• Good analytical skills and knowledge of Excel
• CIPS qualification (or willingness to work towards)
