Role Profile

Our client is a successful FMCG business in the Oldham area. They are looking to appoint a Planning Manager to join their existing Supply Chain team.

There is a real opportunity to make this role your own, as it is an exciting, customer facing position where you will have end to end planning responsibility for a number of sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Production Planners
• Oversee the creation of production plans and material schedules for the site and optimise inventory planning process
• Chair monthly S&OP meetings with commercial teams
• Chair regular operational meetings with site leaders
• Meet regularly with key customers and manage new product launches, promotions and demand patterns

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Significant planning experience in an FMCG environment
• Proven hands-on experience in material planning, production scheduling and inventory
• Track record of delivering improvements and efficiencies
• Proven experience managing planning teams, including coaching and developing planners to drive high performance
• Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems and Excel

Remuneration

£45,000 - £55,000
