Job Title: Sustainability Specialist

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £40000

We are a looking for a Sustainability Specialist to join our industry leading client based in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability initiatives, as well as identifying and investigating new opportunities to reduce the company's carbon footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage sustainability strategies, systems, and processes
• Analyse data, identify trends, and assess the impact of existing and potential initiatives
• Monitor and report on the performance of sustainability initiatives
• Consult with stakeholders and other departments to identify and implement sustainable practices
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
• Research and evaluate new technologies and processes to reduce carbon emissions
• Develop and maintain relationships with external organisations and industry bodies
• Ensure sustainability initiatives are communicated to stakeholders and the public

Technical Skills Required:

• Excellent knowledge of the principles of sustainability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven project management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
• Knowledge of environmental management systems
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
