Technical Manager in Food Manufacturing
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
An experienced Technical Manager is sought by a leading Food Manufacturing business in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and take ownership of all aspects of technical management.
As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day technical operations and the development of the overall technical strategy. You will be expected to ensure that the business is compliant with current regulations and industry standards, as well as developing and implementing new standards. You will also be responsible for leading a team and providing guidance on technical matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of technical operations
- Ensure that the business is compliant with current regulations and industry standards
- Develop and implement new standards
- Lead a team and provide guidance on technical matters
- Manage technical projects and ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor and analyse results to identify areas of improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
- Provide detailed technical reports and presentations
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience of working to SALSA standards is essential
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Previous management experience is required
- Proficiency in MS Office
