Cast UK are supporting a fast-growing Design and Manufacturing business with the recruitment process of a Transport Administrator for our Knowsley location. As the Transport Administrator you will be responsible for managing the flow of information regarding the status of inbound and outbound deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Transport team to coordinate the movement of goods
• Implement procedures to efficiently administrate freight
• Maintaining transport data in SAP and ensuring the administration requirements
• Prepare transportation schedules and plan routes
• Follow up between transport and customers
• Build positive relationships with internal departments, suppliers and clients
• Monitor and identify issues and trends
• Contribute ideas which will improve our ability to provide exceptional customer service

• Methodical approach to problem solving and attention to detail
• Ability to produce clear, precise and coherent analysis reports
• Communicate with all depots around the day to day operations and maximising vehicle utilisation
