Job Title: Country Manager

Salary: £120,000

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Country Manager to join our Final Mile industry. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our UK operations, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of the industry and the local market.

The successful candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of business acumen. They will be highly organised, have excellent communications skills and be able to work independently and manage a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and profitability of the company in the UK
  • Manage the UK operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and customer behaviour
  • Identify opportunities for growth and new business development
  • Liaise with stakeholders and key partners to ensure collaboration
  • Develop and manage relationships with customers and vendors
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and take corrective action
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience in the Final Mile industry
  • Proven track record in leading teams
  • Knowledge of market trends, customer behaviour and revenue management
  • Excellent strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting skills
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and negotiations skills
  • Highly organised and able to work independently
