We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our client's 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) organisation based in Leighton Buzzard. The role holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring the smooth running of all warehouse, transport and customer services activities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing operations in a 3PL environment, ideally on E-commerce based operations, with the ability to review and improve processes and procedures. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a team of experienced professionals and help drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth running of all warehouse, transport and customer services activities
- Manage staff and ensure all processes are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure that all customer service levels are met in accordance with SLAs
- Maintain and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices
- Monitor operational performance against targets
- Ensure all operational processes comply with company policies, health and safety requirements and legal regulations
- Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency
- Liaise with customers to ensure all queries are resolved in a timely manner
- Monitor and report on operational performance

Technical Skills Required:
- Proven experience in a 3PL operations role
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse, transport and customer service operations
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to develop and implement operational processes and procedures
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems
