Role Profile

A dynamic and rapidly growing company in Surrey is seeking an experienced Senior Warehouse Operative/Warehouse Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record within a warehouse management and will be responsible for leading a small team of warehouse operatives to ensure that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will work Monday to Friday, 2pm-10:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure that all processes are executed efficiently and effectively
• Plan and coordinate the work of a team of warehouse operatives to ensure all tasks are completed within deadlines
• Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy and that all equipment is properly maintained
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
• Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve daily targets
• Liaise with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the supply chain are functioning effectively
• Ensure that all stock is accurately recorded and managed in line with company procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Warehouse Operative/Warehouse Team Leader or similar role
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment
• Familiarity with warehouse management software and systems
