Role Profile

A leading distribution customer of Cast UK's is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Team Leader. Based at their Basildon operation, the role will also be required to create schedules, monitor stock levels and know when to replenish stock.

Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, this role will be focused on ensuring every item of stock gets to its destination on time.

Other requirements of the Warehouse Team Leader role include:

• Responsible for all direct activities of warehouse staff
• Monitor and review attendance of staff - reporting to Warehouse Manager
• Responsible for Coach, train, manage the performance of warehouse operatives
• Ensuring that all Learning and Development and all training requirements are met and regularly reviewed
• Experience of working closely with the Warehouse manager and operations manager
• Experience of picking goods accurately and build pallets safely
• Ensuring the warehouse/yard is kept clean and tidy at all times, spillages promptly cleared, waste minimised
• Adaptable and flexible in approach to work

Skills & Experience

Candidates will demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail, and recognises the importance of timely completion of tasks. A background in a fast paced warehouse operation would be highly beneficial given the nature of the operation.
