Role Profile

Cast UK are supporting our client, who is a leading logistics business, in their recruitment process of a Warehouse Development Department Manager , based in Northampton. Reporting to the Department manager who you will support within a busy Distribution Centre.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Monitor sickness and absence levels for the overall department including Team Managers and Development Team Managers, in line with processes and the agreed budgeted KPIs.
  • Ensure stock is picked and UK Retail, Digital and International deadlines are met in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Effectively communicate and engage with all employees to ensure expectations and standards are clearly understood.
  • Work in partnership with other departments and Distribution Centres within the network to ensure our service delivery meets customer expectations.

Skills & Experience

  • My client is looking for an experienced individual who has a proven track-record of working within FMCG logistics or 3PL environments.
  • Experience of site start ups would be beneficial.
  • Comfortable leading a team.
  • Resilient.
