£45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits

Role Profile
Our client is a market leading business who are looking to recruit a dynamic Facilities, Health and Safety Manager, based at their NDC in Northamptonshire. Reporting into the General Manager you will be responsible for all on-site security, maintenance, catering, and management of contracts for the business, ensuring that the site complies with all current legislation relating to site safety and management. Additional responsibilities include;

  • To ensure the effective management of all health and safety matters within the site.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and other departments.

  • Overall responsible for ensuring the delivery of all agreed site maintenance targets are achieved.

  • Monitor performance and inspect and sign off completed work to specification.

  • Certifying the site is fully compliant and meets with all health and safety legislation, ensuring all facilities are in working order and maintained correctly.

  • Manage budgets in line with agreed site finance expenditure, maintain expenditure records.

  • Obtain quotations for projects and miscellaneous equipment or services negotiating the best deals with outside contractors and suppliers.

Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have a proven Facilities Management background within a large, fast paced organisation ideally within the Logistics or Manufacturing sector with automated systems. It is essential that candidates have a proven background in managing departmental budgets, both forecasting and monitoring against site finances. It is also essential that you have experience and knowledge of working within a KPI / target driven environment. An IOSH or NEBOSH certificate would be highly advantageous.
