Role Profile

Cast UK are excited to be working with one of our key clients, a leading clothing business based in Greater Manchester, to recruit a Head of Supply Chain. The business supplies small independents as well as global brands and pride themselves on the quality and broad selection of options available. The role oversees the Import Merchandising, Demand Forecasting and Warehouse teams and is based across both the warehouse and head office therefore it is essential you have experience in a similar, commercial role. It is essential that you have strong forecasting and planning skills and an appreciation of the pick and pack process. You will be highly commercial and analytical, able to link the supply chain function right through to execution in the warehouse. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and ambitious individual to join an established business, putting your mark on a newly created role. It is essential that you have experience working for a retail head office (e-commerce preferred) or supplier into retail. Experience, Skills & Personal Attributes

• Experienced in a similar, senior supply chain role (not purely warehouse focused)
• An understanding of the imports process from Asia
• Strong and inspirational leader
• Strong planning skills
• Understands numbers and forecasting of products
• An appreciation of the pick and pack process
• Can link a supply chain function through to execution in warehouse
• Able to bring together supply chain (head office) and operations (warehouse) that are currently disconnected
• Highly commercial and analytical
• Hold a full, clean drivers license and happy to travel between sites on a day-to-day basis (North and South Manchester)
• Ability to motivate, coach and give direction
