Bunzl Catering Supplies, part of the Bunzl Catering & Hospitality Division, is the leading distributor of disposables, packaging and hygiene solutions to the hospitality and catering sectors in the UK. Delivering to a variety of customers in both the private and public sector from small independent cafe owners, local health trusts and schools to national hotel and restaurant chains.

As the exclusive recruitment partner for Bunzl Catering, Cast UK have been instructed to recruit a Transport Supervisor for their operation in Harlow.

The Transport Supervisor will report into the Transport Manager, managing the day to day operation of a team of Drivers. This key position for the site requires an experienced, dynamic Transport Supervisor who can lead a team and further build upon the success of the site. This is a Monday to Friday role on a day operation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Line management for circa 20 Drivers
• Lead, develop and motivate your team to ensure delivery of performance requirements in line with Bunzl's expectations.
• Ownership, development and continuous improvement of all Transport KPI's.
• Ensure effective communication with onsite transport team and other sites within the Bunzl Catering network.

Skills & Experience
Candidates are sought who have experience operating autonomously and within a fast-paced, high-volume operation. You will be a natural leader and will be able to demonstrate proven examples of where you have developed your team and fostered effective inter-department communication across Transport operations.
Candidates applying for the Transport Supervisor opportunity must be able to demonstrate strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills and have a proven record in the introduction and effective management of key Transport KPI's. You will have strong geographical knowledge & a good knowledge of transport compliance.
