Depending on the role, a willingness to travel on short notice may be necessary, while foreign language fluency can also be beneficial.

The area still retains close links with its former county town Berwick-on-Tweed, and even through even that town only has a population of just over 10,000, it represents the best place to look for Operations Director jobs or similar positions. The nearest large concentrations of populations are Edinburgh and Newcastle-upon-Tyne, both of which are more than an hour away by road.
