They will lead a team and control large scale projects, programs, contracts and operations of high complexity to deliver a great environment and drive maximum innovation.
The skills required
The Head of Facilities Management must demonstrate strategic thinking and possess leadership skills to influence across the business at all levels to drive best practise.
Experience in a business with many sites and units is necessary as well as an open mind that allows you to work collaboratively across all business functions.
A strong track record of managing financial budgets, vendors and contracts will be required, along with advanced strategic and operational facilities and property management skills.
Head of Facilities Management Jobs in County Fermanagh
County Fermanagh is the only Northern Irish county that does not encircle Lough Neagh, sitting as it does in the south western corner of the province. It shares more Irish county borders than Northern Irish, the only latter one being County Tyrone, the four Eire ones being Donegal, Leitrim, Cavan and Monaghan. The county town and county seat is Enniskillen, which, with 14,000 people, is the county’s most populous. The entire population of Fermanagh is less than 60,000. After Enniskillen, the next largest settlement is Lisnaskea, which is home to just over 2,500.
Much of Fermanagh is rural, with agriculture and tourism being its main sources of income. It does have a good set of physical connections with Eire as well as Northern Ireland, which does offer up the possibility of finding Head of Facilities Management work in the county.
