Role Profile
Cast UK are looking to recruit a commercially focused Business Development Manager for a North West based client.
This is a newly created role with a focus on developing new business opportunities to enable our client to achieve their long-term business growth objectives. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as you will be instrumental in driving business growth and expansion into new markets.
The position will suit an established professional with experience of developing new business in manufacturing and engineering markets.
Key responsibilities as Business Development Manager will include:
- Identifying strategic target markets and customers and developing business development strategy
- Responding to customer RFIs and writing robust commercial proposals
- Working closely with customers to design and develop solutions that will add value
- Proposing commercial models that will maximise revenue and meet customer requirements
- Building a strong sales pipeline, nurturing and closing new business opportunities
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven success in a previous business development role
- Experience selling services and solutions to corporate, blue chip customers
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Honed presentation skills and strong stakeholder engagement
- Exposure to Manufacturing and/or Engineering sector
