Role Profile
Our client is a leading logistics provider in the midlands, looking to recruit a Demand Planner into the team.
This is a great opportunity to join the business as a Demand Planner, as there is real scope to shape the organisation's demand planning and S&OP processes going forward.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare end to end demand forecast for the site.
- Support and lead the S&OP process to establish a robust demand forecast.
- Run regular forecast meetings with Sales team to review and agree rolling forecast.
- Report on KPIs such as forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvements within the forecast process.
- Forecast system management to allow good business unit forecast intergration.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Demonstrable experience in a hands-on demand planning role.
- Experience or exposure to S&OP
- Good knowledge of forecasting tools and systems
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Honed organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
