CAST UK is recruiting an Internal Sales Coordinator for a fast-growing Engineering business in Northwich.

Role Profile
They key objective of this role is to support the Sales function by coordinating the end to end internal sales process and acting as a key point of contact for customer queries.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Sales Inbox, ensuring timely responses to customer communications
- Coordinating RFQs, including interpreting customer requirements through technical specifications and engineering drawings, and preparing costings and quotes
- Following up quotes with customers and managing pipeline activity
- Raising sales orders and issuing order acknowledgements to the customer
- Overseeing existing customer orders to ensure client requirements are met
- Maintaining accurate data on the CRM and implementing improvements within the system
- Tracking KPIs for the sales function through monthly reports and insights
- Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement within the business and working cross functionally to implement better process flows, procedures and reporting
Ideal Skills and Experience
- Engineering background (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar Sales Support / Internal Sales / Sales Engineer role within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings
- Proactive, decisive, organised and adaptable
- Positive, "can-do" attitude
- Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of cross functional working
- Comfortable in a hands-on role with the ability to thrive in a small, close-knit team
