Role Profile

We are seeking a motivated Sales Co-ordinator to support and grow long-term customer relationships within a fast-paced supply chain environment. This role is ideal for a junior sales professional looking to build strong commercial and technical experience while working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

You will play a key role in managing customer accounts day-to-day, supporting pricing and order fulfilment, and ensuring customers receive a reliable, professional, and value-driven service. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in account management, commercial negotiation, forecasting, and supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Account Support

  • Act as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, maintaining regular engagement and building trusted relationships
  • Manage and complete customer RFQs, supporting pricing, margins, and lead time commitments
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules in line with commercial targets
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within the ERP system
  • Proactively manage customer queries relating to open and outstanding orders
  • Support and facilitate customer business reviews and performance discussions
  • Generate customer KPIs and performance data as required

Commercial & Sales Analysis

  • Maintain active price management within the system, ensuring margin visibility and accuracy
  • Analyse customer schedules to ensure stock availability and continuity of supply
  • Obtain and manage up-to-date customer forecast data for key accounts
  • Complete monthly sales forecasting and analysis to support account planning

Order Fulfilment & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with Warehouse and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
  • Support resolution of quality concerns raised by customers
  • Create commercial invoices and support customer declarations
  • Resolve empty bin queries by working closely with customers and the Purchasing team

Purchasing & Supply Chain Support

  • Liaise with suppliers on pricing and lead times
  • Support product sourcing and re-sourcing activities
  • Place and progress purchase orders with suppliers to meet customer demand

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Strong verbal, written, and numerical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Well-organised with good time management and attention to detail
  • Customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in sales and account management
  • Comfortable working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams
