Role Profile

Our client is a thriving business with a site in Birmingham. They are currently looking to appoint a Head of Production with a proven track record in change management and continuous improvement to oversee the running of a busy production operation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Daily management and coordination of a busy production plant.
• Overseeing all departments onsite including Production, Maintenance, Stores, Shipping, Quality and Planning.
• Ensuring profitability and optimal performance of the operation.
• Identifying and driving change management initiatives to improve plant efficiency, including continuous improvement, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven track record in previous Production Manager or Plant Manager roles.
• Experience in fast paced, high volume production environments.
• Good knowledge of LEAN concepts/principles.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement.
