Role Profile
As the exclusive recruitment partner for Bunzl Catering group, Cast UK have been instructed to recruit a Interior Designer their AGGORA team covering the South of the UK. This is a purely new business role in a sector that has huge potential for Bunzl hence they are now looking to recruit a highly driven candidate with the ability to foster new relationships across the region. The role will be field based and include travel across the network to customers. The Interior Designer will offer an unrivalled consultative approach to working with customers with a view to gaining trust and long-term business.
AGGORA Catering Solutions are looking for a brilliant Interior Designer to come and join the team. Working alongside the Commercial Director, this role will allow you the freedom to work independently with as much entrepreneurial spirit as you can muster. We are looking for someone who can serve as primary relationship owner, maintaining and developing top tier key client accounts. The role will be a critical and senior part of the company's sales structure, ensuring clients gain an excellent and long-term experience of AGGORA's services.
Key Responsibilities
- To oversee the offer and delivery of national account projects, the candidate will be comfortable working on large turnkey projects, taking client briefs and developing designs and environments alongside internal resource and clients.
- Utilise subcontractors, suppliers & designers as required to provide operationally sound layouts in accordance with various brand and / or client standards.
- To help ensure ALP achieves annual targets set for relevant department and wider business.
- Attend site briefings with customers as when and where required in the UK. The role will involve UK wide travel and various overnights stays.
- Ensure the ALP team deliver proposals and itemised quotations in the timescales required by the customer.
- Ability to carry out company and project presentations to various customers as required.
- Oversee all projects with the department to ensure ALP provide a highly professional service to the customers satisfaction to ensure future repeat business.
- Present new products, innovation and services and enhance and develop existing relationships.
- Develop AGGORA's unique selling propositions and differentiators into new areas.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly status and results presentations to internal and external teams.
- Actively report the department's monthly activity and sales order pipeline to ensure the ALP Commercial Director receives accurate & reliable information for forecasting and upward reporting.
- Submit activity and management reports as requested by the ALP Commercial Director.
Candidates are sought who have Significant experience in professional client relationship management, who can drive design quotes and project conversions. A solid background in the foodservice design & build industry and ideally in a sales or account management role is an essential. The ability to self-manage your time is critical as is the ability to always put the needs of the customer first. Being able to add value to customers is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate how you have added value across multiple customers, both existing and new business. The successful candidate will have the ability to work to defined processes within industry regulations including CDM and have knowledge of shopfitting and design & build projects.
