Are you an experienced Inventory Manager with a passion for influencing change? Then we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the entire inventory management process across multiple site locations across the UK, from ordering, tracking, and replenishing materials
- Identify areas for improvement and create strategy to address and deliver positive change
- Working closely in partnership with the logistics team to streamline operations and ensure inventory targets are being achieved
- Travelling across the network and sharing best practice, liaising closely with site leads to ensure change is implemented
- Collaborate with other business functions including purchasing, finance and operations to help deliver excellent customer service across the business
What are we looking for?
- Strong inventory management background, ideally within a distribution network or logistics environment
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to influence stakeholders, both internal and external
- Analytical mindset
- Demonstrable experience of delivering change within a stock/ inventory function
- The role will include travel across the network, so a flexible approach to travel and hours is required
- Highly proficient in IT, including Advanced Excel user skills
