Role Profile
Cast UK are working with a growing retail business based in Liverpool to recruit a Junior Buyer to join their team. Working on the FMCG side of the business, you will play a key-part in supporting the Senior Buyer on Pet Food. You will be an established Buying Assistant / Assistant Buyer, currently working for a retail business buying FMCG. The ideal candidate will have a common-sense approach to buying and a strong trading mentality. You will be a fast-learner who can adapt quickly to change and have the ability to cope with the pace and pressure of a fast-paced retail business. As this role is heavily admin based, it will not suit those who are very product focussed / creative. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join an established retail business growing year on year.

Skills & Experience
· Currently working as an established Buying Assistant / Assistant Buyer, ideally within FMCG
· Strong trading mentality
· Common sense approach to buying
· Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment/ adapt quickly to change
· Commercially aware
· Good level of IT ability, particularly Excel & highly organised with attention to detail
