Role Profile

This is a fantastic role to support a multi-channel retailer based in North London UK. You will be supporting an already existing logistics & supply chain department through some key projects. The successful candidate will have a passion for first in class customer service and help to provide a smooth working model in the end-to-end logistics function.

Responsibilities

• Manage all logistics costs challenging prices & taking a proactive approach to reducing costs.
• Develop & maintain strong relationships with factories & shippers to ensure a smooth process for delivery of product.
• Use data to inform your decision making & identify new ways of improvement.
• Negotiate Rates, Terms where required and review SLAs.
• Establish areas for improvement within the WMS and work alongside the team to support projects and implement change.
• Oversee 3PL operation ensure documentation & any other relevant information is available to them.
• Overseeing the regional DC, store, and Ecommerce warehouse.
• Take lead in stock and inventory organisation within the DC and Retail.
• Actively build strong relationships with both internal and external key stake holders within the business.

Requirements

• Ecommerce/Retail experience is desirable
• Commercially driven with an appetite to drive business improvements
• Confident decision maker with the ability to effectively prioritise, get stuff done and work autonomously
• Strong attention-to-detail, excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills (verbal and written) and liaise with all members of the business including Senior Management team.
• Strong IT and Analytical skills
• Excellent understanding of international trade
• Extensive Ecommerce expierence
• WMS and Ecommerce software knowledge
