What will the role involve?

• Managing and motivating a team whilst leading through change and creating a positive working environment
• Planning departmental needs and organising the workload to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
• Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained and implement a new 5S system
• Reinforce working standards alongside processes and procedures to ensure zero accidents and RFT achieved. Escalate and produce recovery plans where needed
• Maintain KPI achievement

Ideal Skills & Experience
 

• Strong understanding of, and experience, in high-precision manufacturing and working with and/or operating CNC machines
• Ability to understand and read engineering drawings
• Proven line management experience with the ability to influence and lead through change
• Financially astute with the ability to manage budgets and control costs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
