- Introduce preventative, predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies.
- Manage maintenance planning, scheduling and engineering resources.
- Lead root cause analysis to eliminate recurring equipment failures.
- Oversee capital investment projects from installation through to commissioning.
- Support automation and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Production, Quality and Continuous Improvement teams to maximise operational performance.
- Ensure engineering activities are carried out safely and in compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Develop engineering KPIs and use data to drive performance improvements.
About You
We're looking for an experienced engineering professional with:
- Significant experience in a senior Maintenance or Engineering Management position within manufacturing.
- Proven success implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, reliability engineering and asset management.
- Experience leading, motivating and developing engineering teams.
- A track record of delivering engineering improvement and capital investment projects.
- Knowledge of automation, robotics, PLC-controlled machinery or modern manufacturing equipment.
- A strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Experience
Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates with experience in:
- Fabrication, heavy engineering, manufacturing or automated production environments.
- Robotic welding or automated production systems.
- CMMS implementation and maintenance planning systems.
- Lean Six Sigma, TPM or Project Management qualifications.
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
What You'll Bring
You'll be someone who:
- Inspires and develops high-performing teams.
- Leads from the front with a hands-on approach.
- Uses data to drive engineering decisions.
- Thrives on solving complex engineering challenges.
- Is passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence.

- Involvement in exciting automation and capital investment projects.
- Ongoing professional development and leadership training.
- Company pension.
- Additional annual leave.
- Health and wellbeing programme.
- Employee referral scheme.
- Free on-site parking.
- Excellent long-term career progression within a growing and successful manufacturing business.
