Role Profile
Cast UK are supporting our client, a well-funded start up with a passion for sustainability. Due to their fast rate of expansion, they are looking to recruit an Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operation across their site in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity to join a company that is already transforming their industry and is growing a great pace.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Managing a rapidly growing team (300% growth since October 2021), coordinating their shifts and ensuring their performance
  • Ensuring high standards in both the quality of the service and the efficiency of logistics
  • Accountable for the upkeep of the site and maintenance of hardware to ensure they do not hamper growth
  • Ensure the team is operating in a safe manner and maintaining and improving the processes

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a start up or new site environment would be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong team player with communication skills
  • Ability to be agile and approach problems from an innovative stand point
  • Have a high attention to detail to ensure that quality assurance is constantly improving
  • Empathetic by nature and driven to address the climate crisis
